Jain Poly Reducing Elbow ( 20 x 16 mm)

The Reducing Elbow (20 mm × 16 mm) is a precision-molded irrigation fi tting designed to connect two different diameter lateral pipes at a 90° (90 Degree) angle. This is recommended to use with an underground submain having 16mm takeoff and tube which is to be connected to a 20mm polytube. It ensures smooth water fl ow transition from sub-main to lateral pipelines while maintaining pressure balance and minimizing leakage risk.

Manufactured from high-quality UV-stabilized engineering polymer, it provides long-term durability under harsh agricultural fi eld conditions. It ensures reliable performance in agricultural, horticultural, and landscape drip irrigation applications.

It is recommended to use a poly elbow for the tubing taken out from the submain. THis avoids kinking/ folding of the tubing.

Please note that, the present option is for polytube where as options for Emitting Pipe - Thick Wall, Drip Tape- Thin Wall and inline 0.4mm are under development and will be made available very soon.

Applications

  • Transition from 16mm to 20mm lateral
  • Corner routing in drip irrigation layouts
  • Prevents pipe bending or kinking.
  • Used near plant rows where lateral direction changes.
  • Installed in systems where pipe diameter reduction is required to balance fl ow.
